Gonzalo Fanjul is a researcher and an activist against poverty. He currently directs the policy analysis area of the Barcelona Institute for Global Health and promotes the Fundación porCausa, which produces information and narratives in the field of migration. He is a research associate for migration at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) in London. He became a fellow of the Ashoka network of social entrepreneurs in 2018. He regularly collaborates with written and audiovisual media, and is the author and co-editor of the El País blog 3,500 Millones, which received the 2012 FAO award.
