
D. Manuel García Hernández
Manuel García Hernández is an Industrial Enginneer of ICAI, especialised in Electricity (2000) and has a Masters in Public Administration by Harvard Kennedy School of Government (2012), that studied thanks to the Fulbright scholarship. He is part of the He belongs to the Corps of State Industrial Engineers since 2005.
In the private sector, he has worked in engineering and consulting companies and, already in the Administration, has held various positions such as Technical Adviser, Advisor, Director of the cabinet in the Secretary of State for Energy, Deputy Technical Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism or Technical Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda.
He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of several entities and public companies, such as IDAE, Cores, Ddi, Acuanor, Sepides or Enresa, as well as a member of the board of trustees of the School of Industrial Organization and the Forum of Renowned Brands.
From October 2018 and until his appointment as Director General of Energy Policy and Mines, he was Deputy Director General of Electric Power at the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge.
